Blogs and the Pennsylvania Murders

Ruth Holladay of the Indianapolis Star explores the implications of a new era when suspected murderers have blogs, victims have blogs, and anyone who wants to comment is setting up a blog to offer up their viewpoint on the banal and the significant surrounding a terrible act.

I did not find anything objectionable when I glanced at Ludwig's blog. The Colombine killers had their own website. AOL took it down before I had a chance to visit it. I don't have a problem with criminals having their own websites. If they are stupid enough to announce their activities online, then that makes them easier to catch.
